MW4 No Recoil and No Spread: Reading the Listed Controls
An explanation of why a settings list should be read by category rather than as one feature claim.
Feature lists often put no recoil and no spread in a miscellaneous section. That placement matters. The approved MW4 source names both controls there, alongside a stream-proof overlay, saved configurations, and a custom crosshair. It does not make them part of the player-visual or radar categories.
Read the label beside the option
A setting name is only useful when its category is clear. Aim controls in the source cover the aim circle, smooth movement, target area, distance cap, and filters. Player visuals cover labels and display information. The miscellaneous list is separate.
Keep configuration questions practical
The source also names one saved configuration for 6v6 and another for DMZ. That is a reason to look at the current menu layout, not a reason to assume every setting applies in every mode. Review the live listing before relying on a category name.
